El Reino Unido recibirá el próximo 18 de mayo la antorcha que fue encencida en la ciudad griega de Olimpia por una actriz, que emulaba a la Gran Diosa, con ayuda del sol y un espejo parabólico.
Este año, debido a la crisis, no será posible "pasear" la antorcha por los 5 continentes, y caerá directamente en su relevo, Londres. Esta es una forma de conectar los JJ.OO. antiguos con los modernos.
Lamentablemente, no todo va tan bien con Grecia. Parece ser que es un duro candidato para abandonar la Eurozona. Los griegos ya están retirando sus ahorros para que no salgan perjudicados en el cambio al dracma, por si algo ocurriese.
Lo que está claro es que este verano, aunque no se pueda ir a la playa porque haya días lluviosos, estaremos entretenidos. Los JJ.OO. se inauguran el 27 de julio y no podemos olvidar la Eurocopa. Desde el 8 de junio al 1 de julio podremos disfrutarla. Se celebrará en Polonia y Ucrania.
